About Us

Hello! Tracey and Erin met working in the same counselling department at a Canadian university nearly 25 years ago, providing personal, career, and learning supports to post-secondary students.  We now work in private practice as independent practitioners.

We are both Registered Psychotherapists (RPs) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and members of the Learning Specialists Association of Canada. With over 40 combined years as professionals in the counselling field, we have extensive experience to offer our clients.

Throughout our careers, we’ve had a particular interest in helping clients understand and address the impacts of mental health, personal circumstances, ADHD and learning differences and disabilities on their experiences in education and in life. In addition to individual counselling and psychotherapy, we’ve created and facilitated groups, programs, and workshops to support academic and personal wellness and success.

We approach our work with deep compassion and empathy, providing a supportive and empowering counselling environment. Our goal is to work together with our clients to help them discover their unique strengths and develop the skills to succeed personally, academically, and professionally.

We look forward to helping you along your journey!

Tracey Ropp, RP

I hold a Master’s of Education in Counselling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and am a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

My counselling and psychotherapy are informed by a variety of modalities including Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural, and Solution-Focused. I also have a particular interest in the ways mindfulness-based approaches can assist with attention and focus, stress and anxiety, emotion regulation, academic achievement, and overall well-being.  The approaches and techniques I use in sessions are all personalized to best suit each individual client’s needs and interests.

My favourite things to do in my free time are reading novels, snuggling my dog, walking outdoors, and dipping my toes in surf and sand whenever I get the chance!

Erin House, RP, OCT

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Child & Youth Studies, a Master's of Education in Counselling, and a Master's of Science in Childhood Education. I am also a certified teacher registered with the Ontario College of Teachers.

I offer strengths-based, solution-focused counselling and psychotherapy, always tailored to the unique needs of each client. With extensive experience working with individuals across various stages of life, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities they face. I am particularly interested in helping clients navigate significant life transitions including, but not limited to, the move into post-secondary education and the journey to thriving within it.

When I’m not working, I spend my time with family and friends, walk my dog, read, or plan my next travel adventure, usually with a cup of tea in hand!
